Aim of Programme and Title Awarded

 


The operation of the MSc. in Business Administration, Analytics and Information Systems is defined by the Official Gazette 4186/24-9-2018 t.B'.

Object and Purpose

The Programme provides knowledge, applied knowledge and skills in the joint area of ​​information technology, business administration and data analytics. The subjects of the master's degree promote specialization in knowledge, techniques and practices, which contribute to the production of economic value.

The purpose of the MSc Programme is to form executives of businesses and organizations with versatility, knowledge, analytical abilities and methodological skills in management, information systems and analytical science to support the business, make decisions, improve performance and promote innovation. These qualifications are essential in the current economic environment nationally and internationally.

Postgraduate Degree

The Programme awards a Master of Science in Business Administration, Analytics and Information Systems (MSc.) in Business Administration, Analytics and Information Systems.

Studying for the MSc.

A total of ninety (90) credits (ECTS) are required to obtain the MSc Degree. During the studies, postgraduate students are required to attend and pass postgraduate courses, laboratory training in computing environments and pass examinations in them, research work and writing scientific papers, as well as to prepare a postgraduate thesis. The courses are conducted live in Greek or English. The duration for the awarding of the Master's Degree of the Programme is defined in three (3) academic semesters.

Record

The Programme has functioned as a direction of the MSc in Applied Economics and Finance since 2010 with the provision of specialty courses and then as a direction entitled "Economic, Administrative and Information Systems of Businesses" according to YA (Ministerial Decision) 203903/Z1 (Government Gazette 3441/22-12-2014 v.B'), and with the current title as replaced by YA 408/19-6-2017 (Government Gazette 2266/4-7-2017 v.B').
