The duration of studies in the Programma leading to the acquisition of an MSc degree is set at three (3) academic semesters, including the time of preparation of a dissertation.  Students have privileges such as postponement of studies, reduced ticket, medical care, etc. The University's "Students, Benefits and Activities" page describes in detail benefits such as scholarships, counseling, allowances, relief fund, etc.

The MSc starts in the winter or, if there are reasons, in the spring semester of each academic year. Classes are taught face-to-face. Teaching support can also be provided through distance learning tools, including online courses.  Attendance and attendance is compulsory. During studies, postgraduate students are required to attend and successfully examine postgraduate courses, as well as laboratory courses. An integral part of the MSc is the elaboration and writing of papers, laboratory practice, research employment and the elaboration of a postgraduate dissertation.  The courses are organized in semesters, take place on a weekly basis and are conducted in Greek or English.

During the first and second semester each student attends four courses, while in the third semester two courses. In the third semester, the writing of the dissertation or the attendance of an elective course and the writing of the extended thesis that will be approved by the CC takes place. The workshops are an integral part of the training of the MSc. The courses may be accompanied by tutorials, laboratory exercises and free choice seminars that help students complete their training, gain a deeper understanding of economic concepts, information systems and analytical techniques, as well as experiment with real data. The postgraduate program also provides seminars on topics of special or current interest.
